From the Quick Search screen
- Pull down the Limit by Language menu and click on your choice.
- If the language you want is not on the menu, click on the Advanced Search button.
From the Advanced Search screen
- Pull down the Limit by Language menu and click on your choice. This is the only way to specify English as a language.
- If the language you want is not on the menu, move to the Search for: box,
- Type a language from the List of Available Languages, and select Language from the pull-down menu.
Setting a limit for more than one search
- Click on the Set Limits button.
- On the Set Limits screen, pull down the Limit by Language menu and click on your choice. This is the only way to specify English as a language.
- If the language you want is not on the menu, move to the Add another term box, type the language, and select Language from the pull-down menu.
- Click on the Set Limits button at bottom of screen.
The limits you set will appear on the screen. They will remain in effect until
you change databases or click on the Clear Limits button.
Modifying by language
You can modify search results by language as well. Modifying means
that you have performed a search and now wish to
limit your search results in a second step.
- Click on the Modify Search button.
- On the Modify Search screen, pull down the Limit by Language menu and click on your choice. This is the only way to specify English as a language.
- If the language you want is not on the menu, move to the lower Search for: box.
- Type a language from the List of Available Languages, and select Language from the pull-down menu.
- Click on the Search button.
