Previous Searches

To see a list of searches done in your current Pathfinder session, click the Previous Searches button in the top menu bar on most screens.

To redo a search, click on its link in the Search Query column.

To combine two or more previous searches:

  1. Click on the check-boxes next to the searches you want to combine.
  2. Choose whether to see items containing "any" or "all" of the combined search terms.
  3. Click on the Search button.

To add another search term:

  1. Follow the steps above to re-do your previous search(es)
  2. On the new search results screen, click on the Modify Search button

Searches from previous sessions

Pathfinder does not have a way to save searches after your session is over. However, this can be done in Melvyl, the catalog of all UC campus libraries, using its "My Workspace" feature. Before proceeding, it's a good idea to click on Melvyl's "Help" link, then read the detailed instructions under "Saving Results".
